Day Five
22nd-Mar-2004 10:02 pm
-out of focus-
Well, this is actually take two of Day Five...since I managed to press apple-q instead of apple-a. I shouldn't be allowed to use unfamilar keyboards.

Soooo....here we go again.

Woke up about 7:30...but managed to roll over and go back to sleep until about 11. Once we got up and sorted, hatter, ybunny, and I went to the Tesco Express and got some frivolous food, as well as some with nutritional value (mmm...Marmite and toast) and ybunny got some flowers for shineyquarter, apparently now know as Mommy Dearest.

Once at percible's, we lazed about for a bit playing with bits of food. Then we headed down to the seaside. However, going to the seaside didn't actually entail any playing in the surf. We did get to watch hatter play DDR (Dance, Dance Revolution), which is like Riverdance on crack, and shineyquarter and I played enough skeeball to get a slinky apiece.

After a bit, we decided that we needed fish and chips...though only hatter had the fish in reality. The rest had veggie burgers...well, except percible who had some pie and pastry thingy.

We headed back to town, where the group split and ybunny and I went back to his flat to get Finding Nemo...and by chance collected archie_rss.

Back at percible's we watched a little of Blackadder, IV, until hatter had to leave to catch his plane.

Then, onto Finding Nemo. I was typing this post, until shineyquarter's bastard boss tried to call her mobile internationally, which needed to be answered with an email saying in nice terms, "Feck off, I'm on holiday."

In the interum, archie_rss entertained us with the origins of the idea that he and ybunny are 'an old married couple'. Apparently, they are a unit of 'MattandTom'. *laughs*

Now we're onto Snatch. Likely, we'll beg a ride home off of archie_rss, and hit the sack after it's over.

I'm not sure what we'll do tomorrow...but I know that the day will seem to slip away before it's even started. All the time here has seemed that way. *sigh* At least we're having a blast of a time.

Hey, email mummy. She wants to know what's going on. So, unless you want her finding this, perchance...

So I take it that Tom hasn't read the book or seen the movie, Mommie Dearest? I shudder to think of the implications if he has. ;)

I thought of that as well...and apparently he hasn't. I'm going to let him continue in blissful ignorance, as I don't believe Avi has either... :)

Oh dear. :)

I wondered when she made it her Rep title...!
