I am grateful. I give thanks.
The kindnesses that I have been shown in this year can bring me to tears.
The lack of those kindnesses can often have the same effect.
I am thankful for my family: golfbisquit
, my parents, my grandmother. I know that it is not a given that one will like one's family. I am fortunate enough to like and
love them. They support me, they are fun to be around, and love me in return. There are as many reasons that they are dear to me as there as jokes shared among us.
I am thankful for ybunny
, for he loves me. Not because he has to or because it benefits him in some ulterior way, but simply because. I am lucky, I am loved as much as I love.
I am thankful for shineyquarter
. Her willingness to move out of her old domicile meant that we could move into a new-ish apartment, split rent, and I could live without relying on my parents. She makes me laugh and she makes me think. I wish I could be more what was needed and less of what is not.
I am thankful for my work. Even with all of the problems, I make more money than any one else doing initially unskilled manual labor. I have excellent health insurance and a steady paycheck that allows me to save somewhat.
I am thankful for my co-workers who make the eight hours every night go by faster.
I am thankful for you, my readers for sharing my day to day ramblings and for sharing yours in return.
I know that this post is uncharacteristically long. I can only say what is in my heart.
