Blah, blah, blah.

People came, we drove, we saw, we ate, we laughed. Pics soon.

Very tired...overslept for German. Then again, don't really care about German...thought it would be much more difficult. Ah, well.

Went to Taco Bell for the first time in a while yesterday afternoon (the $99 deal on 120GB drives at Best Buy with a $30 rebate was too much to resist, so ran off to Asheville). I tend to despair at ever getting a job, since I always feel surrounded by people SO much smarter than I. However, I was reminded that it is something like only 5% of the population that goes past college and that I have been surrounding myself with many people who fit into that category. The reason I was reminded of this statistic was the sheer incompetence and inability to understand simple English displayed by the people manning the Taco Bell. Hmph. That makes me sound elitest...but oh well. Can't be helped I suppose.

OK...I have now only left myself 10 minutes to make it to the vet. Yikes! Must run.

Where did you hear that stat? I'd like more info 'bout it.

probably just making it up at this point...though I do remember that the real stat was in Time or Newsweek back in about 2001. Basically said that the population of US that goes past 4 year college (for a non-professional degree i.g. dentistry, medicine, etc.) is like less than 5%.
